iPhone Air Concepts gives us a taste of what's going on under Apple's Sleeves
Three images of Apple’s next-gen iPhone have been supposedly leaked from Foxconn, Apple’s go-to supplier based in China. These pictures show a never seen before iPhone under testing in one of Apple’s testing facilities; two of the photos showing shots of the next-gen Apple flagship with the third vaguely displaying a diagram to parts of the rumored new iPhone design.
If you recall, a leaked photo in February turned out to be fake renderings. We’re not sure if these specific photos are real or not, but they resemble leaks that were floating around last week.
GforGames takes credit for spotting these three potential leaks on Weibo, a popular social network in China. Design-wise, it embodies a similar design to HTC’s One M8 and Apple’s very own iPad Air. On the current iPhone 5s, there is some glass on the back, but here, were the metal breaks there are just what look to be antenna bands; again similar to what HTC did in the M7 and M8.
If you look carefully, it appears that lens on the camera sticks out a little bit. Also, the flash design on the 5s is MIA, which is odd because the dual-LED flash on the 5s was a great move by Apple and provided more accurate pictures when utilizing the flash. Also, the background of each of the photos resembles the machines in the iPhone 5 design video by Apple. This may be a bit of a stretch, but it may just be something to ponder and keep your eyes on.
Just remember, this is not an “s” year for Apple’s iPhone line, so it’s not too early to get excited!
